The Coronavirus Pandemic is disproportionately affecting communities fo color as death rates continue to rise. Early data reports indicate urban communities with large African American populations appear to be the hardest hit in the country. 

Community-Up created the Essential Needs Fund to assist those in affected communities with grants to pay for their essential needs during these challenging times. Essential needs are defined as: 

-Rent Relief

-Food Assistance

-Mental Health Support

-Grief Counseling
